My licence key is rejected, what should I do?

Copy and paste it directly from the purchase e-mail rather than retyping it: the format (dashes, character groups) is strict, even though upper/lower case and extra spaces don't matter. If it keeps being rejected, contact support with your order number.

Do I have to re-enter my order and e-mail on every flight?

No: once the licence is activated, the screen no longer appears. This information stays stored on this machine; you can check it at any time in the options (chapter 7).

The panel shows “companion offline”, what should I do?

Check that the companion application is actually running (icon in the Windows system tray, bottom right). If it was just closed, relaunch it from the Desktop shortcut or the Start menu.

Can I annotate a PDF opened from the web?

Yes, but the annotations are only kept for the current session: a document with no location on disk has nowhere to store them permanently.

Do my annotations show up if I open the PDF elsewhere (another PC, Adobe Reader)?

No, and this is intentional: the PDF file is never modified. Annotations only live inside the application, tied to the file's path on this PC.

How do I enlarge a text note that's already placed?

The size is fixed when the note is placed. To enlarge it, erase it and place it again with the size you want.

The panel seems too small, or the buttons turn into icons only — is that normal?

Yes: below a certain window width, the toolbar automatically switches to an icon-only layout so the controls remain usable.
